The industry is moving towards the creation of a universal household assistant. While that goal has not yet been fully achieved, each new generation of devices takes responsibility for more tasks that previously required human involvement.
What appears most significant is not any individual product but the overall direction of the market. Companies are systematically eliminating the need for manual user intervention, transforming household appliances into autonomous service systems.
The practical conclusion is that home automation is evolving from isolated devices into integrated robotic ecosystems. Over the coming years, a substantial proportion of routine household work may become as invisible as the operation of a washing machine or dishwasher is today.
